Lochaven is a premium residential estate situated in Melbourne’s well-established south-eastern growth corridor of Cranbourne West. Tony Way Playground forms the second stage of this two-part development.
The playground showcases a diverse selection of Spiel-Bau equipment, featuring a mix of ranges and materials. It stands as a strong example of Spiel-Bau’s custom design capabilities.
The highlight of the park is a striking 7-metre-tall Pyramid Tower with two large stainless steel slides. Nearby, a customised log climbing structure spans approximately 10m x 10m, serving as both a chill-out area and an adventurous climbing and balancing zone for children and teens.
Additional features include a ‘pile of logs’ balancing structure, as well as a sand and water play area. This includes a custom ‘mushroom’ pump, a traditional hand pump, a sand sieve, water chutes, and a sand bucket crane.
The overall design of Tony Way Playground embraces a natural aesthetic, using muted colours, natural logs, and raw stainless steel to create a calm and organic play environment.
