The centrepiece of Kinbrook’s newly completed playspace Lavender Rain Park is a striking, fully bespoke play tower, conceptualised in collaboration with our European design partner, Recreology (Spain). Renowned for their ability to transform conceptual ‘napkin sketch’ ideas into innovative and buildable structures, in collaboration with Tract, Moremac, and UDL Group we have created a one-of-a-kind play experience inspired by the form and elegance of the lavender flower.
This sculptural tower offers a complex, multi-level configuration with diverse play routes and graduated challenges that encourage exploration and active engagement. The journey through the structure culminates in a large, enclosed tube slide, making it a dynamic focal point for the entire space.
The surrounding playspace further develops the lavender-inspired theme through carefully selected complementary elements from two of our key international partners: Spiel-Bau and Lappset.
From Spiel-Bau’s Grass Art range, custom-designed elements include:
- An embankment slide seamlessly integrated into the landscape
- A sculptural swing frame
- A tactile climbing rope feature
- A hand-carved timber Bee Rocker, celebrating natural forms and craftsmanship
Lappset’s contributions enhance the theme through nature-inspired play pieces, such as:
- A whimsical Fairy Bridge
- Leaf stepping pads to promote balance and coordination
- A Leaf Carousel, echoing organic shapes in motion
Location: Corner English Street and Norman Road, Donnybrook
