Fig Lane Park Playground, Ultimo NSW

The City of Sydney Council were looking for equipment to suit a large age range for this inner city park upgrade.

Low maintenance timber was an important factor in the decision-making for council, which then led the equipment to compliment the tall Fig trees and stepping logs and balance beams in the area. The Fuschia feature colour a specifically chosen to ‘pop’ in the space

The Lappset Finno activity tower is an exciting piece of play equipment that is suitable for kids of different ages thanks to its two towers (+870 and +1470 mm). The steps, tunnel and slide are suitable for safe sliding by the youngest ones. Older kids can safely climb to the higher tower (+1470 mm), using the curved climbing wall with a rope, and the exhilarating descent at high speed is via a slide.

The climbing frame also from the Lappset Finno range comes with three towers. These towers are connected by beams with grips and a horizontal climbing net, allowing children to move from one tower to the other. The larger tower includes two climbing nets along its sides and one on the top, a climbing wall with holes, a trapeze and a set of gymnastics rings. The smaller tower contains two high bars, ladders, a transparent climbing wall as well as nets on the top of the towers. Thanks to its design, which allows for a variety of climbing and gymnastics options, the climbing frame can be used simultaneously by a large number of children.
