City of Whitehorse selected the Lappset Flora range for Artists Park to provide a playground that aligns with the site’s natural landscape character.
The play space delivers a varied mix of equipment suitable for multiple age groups, supporting physical activity, social interaction, and imaginative play. The Flora range is manufactured from durable Northern pine, with organic forms and curved elements designed to reflect natural environments.
Sustainability and long-term performance were key project considerations, supporting council objectives for resilient, low-maintenance public infrastructure. The final configuration incorporates multiple play functions within an efficient layout, creating a complete and accessible community asset.
A natural colour palette and simple finishes ensure the playground integrates effectively with the surrounding parkland while maintaining a calm and inviting setting.
