Lark Industries collaborated with City of Launceston and landscape architect Southridge Design to deliver a site-specific play solution for Punchbowl Reserve.
The custom Lappset double Finno tower responds directly to the design intent, replacing the existing rotunda and connecting across the raised pathway via a transparent elevated tunnel – demonstrating how standard and custom equipment can be integrated into a highly individual landscape outcome.
Designed for children aged 0 – 10 years, the equipment supports a broad mix of active, adventurous, social and quieter play, with inclusive access considered throughout. The combination of custom play structures, swings and retained site elements delivers strong play value while allowing the original character and existing infrastructure of the reserve to remain part of the finished design.
